Requiem to an epilogue
Written in sand of a poisoned mind
composed by Heaven and the sky
Symphony to a memory
long gone
Sometimes, poetry doesn't have to mean anything. Or it can mean something even though it wasn't intended to mean anything. Well, that's the case with this one. I don't know where it came from, I don't know what it means, but I do know that it sounds really good to me. I almost love it. Hope you enjoy it too. :)

How could I possibly get into your poem if I was too tired to be interested, huh?

I think it's actually got a clear sort of meaning. A bit like what Commentcritic92 said, only I'd say only Heaven and the sky can actually remember it now since it was an epilogue (ending) and it's long gone. So we don't know what the epilogue and memory was, but the atmosphere conveys the sound of remembering what cannot be remembered. Have you been visiting old buildings or listening to Chopin or something? It conveys that sort of atmosphere.

You might actually be onto something. My town is full of old buildings. I sometimes walk past the old church, built in the 18th century. But maybe it's more about the railroad bridge that recently was torn down and now they're building a new one there. It was just over a hundred years old, but many people in my town were sad to see it go, including me. And heck, I walk, bicycle, drive or skateboard past the construction site every single day. So I don't know, but your reasoning is pretty good. Thanks for the comment! :)

I think there's some meaning to this. It sounds like he's had a flashback to a bad time or something...
