Literature Text
We were once ash and dust
In a world so unjust
The two of us born over and over
Feelings I once hoped dead
It was here that they led
We may finally get our closure
One can't forget what they saw
Such is the universe's law
Don't let it come, stop the night
Revive the dying light
You don't care but I always will
We are one but separate
Following dead etiquette
And this way our hearts remain still
The fate that I'm doomed to seek
Is re-enacting stories of antique
Will you look at me, heal the doubt
Grab my hand reaching out
'Cause this lovesickness hurts like cancer
A world of pain, world of loss
Proud, we carry the cross
No longer searching for the wrong answer
Though you hid the blood that you bled
The tragedy still stays in my head
Returned by time to earth's soil
Broken is my mortal coil
You kiss my lips now covered in white frost
You take my hand, cold as it is
Stiff with rigor mortis
Precious things tend to come at a cost
The rebellion of the pariah
Destroyed by a so called messiah
Once again ash and dust
Killed by a world void of trust
But now freed from the lives that we spited
Extinct is a blue bloodline
For your cold hand's in mine
In the next life we'll be reunited
Repeat but never reverse
That's the law of this universe
In a world so unjust
The two of us born over and over

the fatal attraction of civil mysticism and the ingenuity of the perfect aspect ratio fit me into my corner so I could cube myself and bloom under pressure never ending as expected new cubbyholes to place in my belly filled with grief and relief for the mes no one wants to see.

Sunset
Okay so I...uh...looked, I looked at the sun's rays gently embracing the shadow of the building through a veneer of transparent curtain, and I was sort of waiting, waiting for the sun to be completely gone because it was setting opposite to the building I was seeing. And I turned to look at the person in my arms on the bed for a bit I would call it a distraction but it wasn't really, was it? I looked back at the building and the sun was gone and it's hard to describe what I felt then, or it's hard for me to understand it anyway. Some part said that I didn't give the sun the respect it was owed because I looked away when it was setting - if I started by paying attention I should've continued. A gentler part said that the person was way more important, that even though she was sleeping and couldn't see me looking at her she could feel the look. You know how you sometimes feel someone looking at you? Sort of like a magnet pulling you to look in the same direction. Like

If I had a penny for every time I rewrote this, I'd have about a dollar. Or something. Point is, if I took the first draft and this final version and compared them, they only have a couple of similarities. So after a lot of rewriting and fine tuning, I decided it's ready to submit. Feedback is welcomed with open arms. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy.

I like it...It feels like a relationship that keeps continuing through reincarnations of different lives?
